Aaron Schwartz, PLA / Sr. Project Manager

Aaron joined LPDA in 2008 when the Washington D.C. Metro Area Office was first established, giving him unique experience and exposure to clients and projects early on in his career; with a primary focus in planning and landscape architecture. Having an understanding of zoning ordinances, rezoning and the entitlement process, gives him the ability to work with developers and consultants at all levels.

The technical experience and construction knowledge Aaron has gained makes him well-qualified to bring landscape architecture projects from concept to construction. His ability to communicate directly with clients, manage and coordinate with consultants and contractors, results in a high percentage of LPDA’s projects being constructed. Aaron has designed and managed a number of projects including: parks, trails, greenways, community developments, Department of Defense/NAVFAC projects, jurisdictional code plans, roof-top amenity spaces, urban plazas and residential amenity packages at various scales.

A new step in the design process has been incorporating 3D visualization. Aaron manages staff members in incorporating this early on in the design process which has helped solve complicated site work and construction detailing issues prior to mobilization. This additional step has saved owners and contractors time and money.

Aaron’s management continues to lead to successful projects and business relationships.
