Evermoore Neighborhood Park
LPDA is pleased to announce the conveyance of Loudoun County’s newest park; Evermoore Neighborhood Park located within the Westmoore community in Ashburn, Virginia. LPDA has been involved in this project since its inception and we are excited to see the construction completed and the park available for Loudoun County residents to enjoy. Evermoore Neighborhood Park is one of the County’s most unique parks which offers a natural playground including tunnels, rock climber, embankment slides, stone steppers, log balance beam, swings, and a picnic shelter. The park also features a multi-tier amphitheater and stage for hosting large and small scale events, paved trails, and one of first off-leash areas operated by Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS).
The Evermoore Neighborhood Park was designed to be ADA accessible and offers something for children and adults of all ages to enjoy. Aaron Schwartz, a Senior Project Manager at LPDA, has been involved in this project since its inception in 2013 and oversaw the design, construction documentation, construction activities, and final acceptance by Loudoun County PRCS. Aaron worked closely with PCRS staff during the design and construction of Evermoore Neighborhood Park to ensure the design met Loudoun County’s park standards and did not create any maintenance issues for the County after acceptance. Once the construction fencing is removed, Evermoore Neighborhood Park will be open for the public’s enjoyment.
