LPDA worked with a multidisciplinary team for this grade separated, gateway interchange, urban roadway project. The project is located at Route 250 Bypass and the proposed McInitire Road Extended, at the main northern gateway for the City of Charlottesville.

LPDA focused on creating a sense of place and the integration of reforestation and meadow establishment areas, gateway planting, critical multi-use pathway connections, City green space pockets, a trailhead parking area and the overall landscape theme for the gateway interchange.
