LPDA is providing Master Planning services to a land owner in Anne Arundel County, Maryland for the development of a 50 acre suburban infill tract.
While the current use for the site is a vegetable farm, it’s proximity to Baltimore Washington International Airport, Interstate 95 and I-295, and Fort Meade make it a logical location for medium density development. Situated along a county road the first task of LPDA’s Master Plan was to propose resident product that reduced the number of driveways and intersections. Through the use of neo-traditional layouts and alley loaded units, the plan was able to provide applicable density and a consistent streetscape that will calm traffic.
LPDA also provided schematic design for the open spaces, pedestrian circulation and recreational areas for the site.
